Designing the Maker Registry

This Friday we are holding a design session where we will bring in a diverse group of individuals to help us create our Maker Registry.

This participatory design workshop is for exploring new digital tools for our stakeholders. MAYA Design is leading the design exercises that will explore current challenges makers and manufacturers face, and help identify opportunities around the employment, training, placement, and start-up company life cycles.

We will ask participants to imagine how their current experiences could be improved and what information and resources they would need to make that happen. Participants will have a direct hand in creating, but no prior preparation is needed – we are simply asking our participants to bring their brains.

Will you help us? Visit our Help Make the Maker Registry site and RSVP to attend one of four design sessions this Friday (1/17) at TechShop Pittsburgh.
